Does tool require Sign-in? No

Description of Tool: Wordle creates a 'word cloud' from text that the user enters. If words are repeated, their size increases. You are able to personally design your Wordle with certain colors, layouts, and fonts.

How does tool apply to your curricular area? You can use it for: character building, classroom polls, outlining rubrics, and focusing on key parts of a lesson.

Where does tool fit in Digital Blooms and why? Evaluating (you can use it for decision making in the classroom), Analyzing (you can organize categories of text into a Wordle), Creating (students can plan and design their own Wordle), Understanding (use reverse Wordle to allow students to infer the 'secret word')

Extras: If you're working with it in your classroom as a group discussion (ex: polling) the "wordle" you create will be a complete surprise, you have no control of how it arranges the words as you work on it. There is an obvious focus on literary uses but it can be helpful tool to try make your lesson cross-curricular, for example, polling students can use english skills, writing skills, math/scientific skills.
